Pharmacologic action
Antianemia drug. This product is used for the prevention and
therapy of iron deficiency anemia, such as chronic blood loss,
malnutrition, the anemia of pregnant livestocks or lactation
piglet. Iron is important component of haematoglobin, myoglobin and
various enzyme. The defection of Iron will not only cause anemia,
but also influence other physiologic function. In lactation,
trimester of pregnancy or some iron deficiency anemia, the Iron
requirement increases. Iron could retrieve the abnormal physiologic
symptom and descent of haematoglobin level caused by asiderosis.
About 60% of iron was absorbed within 3 days post injection, and
the absorption reach to 90% within 1~3 weeks after injection. The
rest of drugs will be slowly absorbed within several months.
Indications
refer to severe iron deficiency anemia or iron deficiency anemia
that is inadvisable to oral administration. It is used for iron
deficiency anemia of piglets in clinical.
Usage and dosage
By effective ingredient(iron), 100-200mg every time with
intramuscular injection for piglets; or 1-2ml every time with
intramuscular injection for piglets
Adverse reaction
pigs will show adverse reaction occasionally while received iron
injection.
Precautions
1 Intramuscular injection might cause local pain, deep part
intramuscular injection is recommended. It could cause colouring in
buttocks muscle of pigs more than 4 weeks old while received
organic iron injection.
2. No freezing, and precipitation after long time storage.
