Stephen Nobilo, third generation winemaker, continues a family
heritage of over seventy years of winemaking in New Zealand.
The Nobilo winemaking legacy began in 1943 when Croatian
immigrants Nicola and Zuva Nobilo founded Nobilo Wines at
Huapai, Auckland.
Over the next five decades Nicola, Zuva and their three sons
Steve, Nick and Mark grew Nobilo Wines into New Zealand’s
fourth largest wine producer and the largest family owned
winery.

Waimarie wines continue the Nobilo heritage with this wine:

A bouquet of ripe, black fruit, with peppery, earthy overtones.

This wine is medium bodied, with a silky texture and a warm, lingering finish.

The palate shows flavours of blackberries and cherries, with secondary characters of white pepper and subtle French oak.

Only available in 50-100 case lot maximums
